Bomb The Music Industry!, Bridge and Tunnel, Menzingers at Stay Sweet Fest

The inaugural Stay Sweet! Fest has announced the bulk of its lineup. The festival will be happening April 15-17 at The Camel in Richmond, VA and will feature performances from Bomb The Music Industry!, Bridge and Tunnel, The Menzingers, Daytrader, Mixtapes, Spraynard, The Wild, Snowing, New Creases, Lighten Up, The Sidekicks, Rust Belt Lights, Captain, We're Sinking, The Dopamines, Hostage Calm, Grown Ups, Transit, Tigers Jaw, Dead Ringer, Vacation, Slingshot Dakota, Sundials, Everyone Everywhere, Glocca Morra, Monument, Mischief Brew, Nightlights, The Max Levine Ensemble, The Greek Favourites, The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, The Haverchucks, Go Rydell, Timeshares and several others.

Love RVA, but I think I am going to save my money for Best Friends Day as I expect a number of these bands will also be involved with that event.

Too many fests. It's just annoying now. Like the SNL spoof. 324 bands! 2 days! Live alligators! No bathrooms! Flare guns!

I agree, it's getting a little nuts. Especially with Krazy Fest and Pouzza falling on the same dates.

I don't mind it, I've come to prefer going to 2-3 fests a year instead of individual shows because its cheaper in the long-term, more convenient, and more time-friendly since my job makes it virtually impossible to make it to shows on weeknights anymore. Taking a few 3-4 day weekends to attend music festivals is easier. The glory days of my youth and going to 3 or more shows a week are long gone apparently

well yeah, but i'm in MD and i'm not going to gainesville, kentucky, montreal, san francisco, chicago or texas so it actually works out pretty nicely for us mid atlantic folk.

Fuck, I need a job. I can't afford Krazy Fest, Stay Sweet! Fest, and THE Fest all in one year.
