Great match! Animal style has put out some great stuff (TIAS, Daggermouth, etc.) and the tradition continues. HHH is awesome.

New stuff shreds hard, easily becoming one of my favorite bands

they write some insanely good pop punk. plus their nod to the fullblast was pretty cool.

holy shit top 20 is not too shabby. It's much easier to find it now too. Keep that headline and I'll vote whenever I see it.

Gotta wonder if these guys are still gonna be uploading their stuff to What.cd now...

SO so happy for these guys. Shredding, fast, and melody. It's like if you mixed 85% Wilhelm Scream with 15% Alicia Keys. Now, I'm no fan of hers, but on purely musical standpoint, you know you can't get her songs outta yer head. That's not the point, though. You know when you have a physical reaction to a song? Like, not "oh yeah, this is pretty good," but you get goosebumps and wanna grab someone and really squeeze them? That's what this band is, at least to me. I have listened to "cobblestones" over and over again, and it still drives me crazy. We are all suckers for this stuff, and it's OK to embrace it, because, aside from pure pop melodies delivered with, I'll admit it, a pop-punk whine, there is pure pop-thrash in EVERY song. I believe the singer will evolve - that's my only problem with this band. But give them a try. Working hard is important, busting your ass to make a dent in punk now is essential. Not only do these guys proven that, but they actually have great songs. I should be working on my paper - no one cares, or is gonna look at this comment anyway. Poor me. Poor me. Poor me another. Hey-oh! I love all of you (accept the idiots), whom I do not love. And, as awesome as they are, the band name SUCKS. So there. They rock, check 'em out.

what's to stop someone from renting a helicopter, filling it with guns and other weapons, fly it over a prison yard during "recess," and dropping them? I know sometimes there are chain link roofs but I don't think always. Granted it feels like a grand theft auto mission, but still, couldn't it happen? |
