"Hey everybody! Hope you've had as great a summer as we have. Things have been beyond super busy in UFB land. We trekked across this great country rocking out in the sun for Warped Tour, KrazyFest, and Furnace Fest and various other 'Fests, having a blast every step of the way. And this August, even though the touring schedule was at a halt, we ended up working round the clock, writing, practicing, and demoing 10 new songs, recording a Guided by Voices song for an upcoming tribute CD (we did Echoes Myron), and, get ready for this...ADDING A NEW MEMBER TO UFB!

Yes, you heard me right. We are amazingly, giddily, rock-fistedly ecstatic to annouce that our long time great friend J.D. Warnock (of rock greats The Creature Comforts) has officially joined Ultimate Fakebook on guitar and vocals.

So, after a lot of practicing and three intense rock shows under our belt as a four piece, I am here making this official announcement. I can't wait for you guys to see the new Fakebook, and judging from the awesome responses we got at the shows we've played already, I know you're gonna love it! This is a momentous period for UFB that will bring us further in terms of the amount of rock we can produce, further in the intensity of the live show, and further in overall UFB- ness."
