BTV, the punk video show graciously and capably hosted by Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms and Red Scare proprietor Tobias Jeg, has unveiled a new episode that features Smoking Popes, The Brokedowns, Lucero, producer Matt Allison and a classic 1993-era performance from Bad Religion.

They've really gotten mileage out of that Bad Religion footage. I remember taping that as far back as the 1999 "JBTV Don't Drink and Drive" marathon.

every time i attempt to watch it, no matter if the entire is loaded before it's played, it will stop mid way and basically tell me i wasted my time and should probably go fuck myself.

anybody want to steal these and upload them to some torrent site or make youtube videos out of the static age segments? i would probably tell you i'll blow you and not follow through. good enough?

JBTV seem to get some good bands but the editing on the show does my head in. Live performances of bands from about 20 different angles, none of which remain on screen for more than 3 seconds, then a 30 second interview with a band before blasting through onto something else. And does there really need to be so many idents? I don't need to be reminded what's still to come every 5 minutes.

It's on a few times throughout the week, but I think it next airs on Wednesday? Ch. 18 for me, 62 for others.

Just curious why Lucero always gets lumped in with good bands...
I don't recall any of the other bands playing watered down country music with fake southern accents.
