World/Inferno Friendship Society are streaming their upcoming album, The Anarchy and the Ecstacy, right now. The album is due out next week and will be followed by some touring later this month and into April.

really great album, but definitely a grower. canonize and 13 years are two of the best inferno songs ever.

So true. It really is a grower, but once you feel the groove, it is AWESOME.

Also, "sick of people" just might be their best tune ever.

That's kind of like listening to Flogging Molly and saying "This just sounds like Celtic music to me."

works for me. if you hate celtic music you are probably not going to like flogging molly. I Kindof hate the whole gypsy fiddly minor key sound.

I wasn't expecting to like this, but 4 songs in and it hasn't stopped blowing my mind. It strikes me as being their most sophisticated album, and simply their best in general. Hopefully it doesn't relent.

Got mine a few days ago and every song has some really beautiful moments/hooks to it. There's something great about each of them. Favorites so far are The Apple Was Eve (love the chorus) and The Politics of Passing Out.

I was going to say it's very different but then realised they've never made 2 records that sound anything like each other.

Anyway it's completely amazing. Sandra is especially great.

To echo everyone's comments, total grower. Took a listen or two to fully get into it, but once I did...wow. Sandra really shines on this one, never realized how beautiful her voice was! "13 Years" is awesome, never can have enough marimba. Can't wait to see 'em in Boston in May!

That's a weird assortment of albums they're streaming on that site. I never expected the Inferno to be anywhere that Glee was... But maybe that's exactly why they'll do it! The Glee version of Ich Erinnere Mich An Die Weimarer Republik would be pretty amazing.

the vinyl release of this is glorious.

kind of surprise when I first listened to it, especially after the amazing last two albums, but its fucking great
