Travis Barker explains his solo album

Travis Barker spoke to AOL's Cambio about what to expect from his new album, how it came together and some other details. His debut solo album is titled Give the Drummer Some and is due out March 15, 2011. The song features a collaboration with Slash from Guns N Roses and reunites Barker with Tim Armstrong and Skinhead Rob. from The Transplants.

He was on Conan this week with Tim Armstrong and Skinhead Rob. It was a horrible song but it did actually prove that Tim's guitar is plugged in because the sound matched up the three or four times he strummed.

That performance was so goddamn terrible.

I also find it odd how a drummer makes a solo album, yet still just plays drums. (I didn't read the interview, I'm just going off the Conan appearance).
It's not a solo album.

i heard that Tim had a stroke years back and does not have full control over his left side of his body... but im sure i would have heard that as well cause the guy who told me really wasn't a punk

Even if you don't like "stealing" music, I'm sure someone will be streaming it.
This fucker doesn't NEED your money... especially if it sucks.
Find a stream, I guarantee there will be one, and then decide if it's worth your money.

I think I'd by happiest if Barker just suited back up and joined the Aquabats again, as the Baron Von Tito. That's where I liked him best, and that's what I'd be most interested to listen to.
