Ceremony, Joyce Manor, Maker announced for Sound and Fury 2011

The first round of bands for this year's Sound and Fury festival has been announced. Confirmed to appear are Agitator, Alpha & Omega, Band of Mercy, Between Earth and Sky, Bitter End, Ceremony, Deafheaven, Down To Nothing, DYS, FocusedxMinds, Hardside, Harvest, Incendiary, Joyce Manor, Maker, Nails, New Lows, Power, Ringworm, Rotting Out, Sleepwalkers, Soul Search, Stick Together, Suicide File, Take Offense, Venia, Violation and War Hound.

The second round of bands will be announced on April 26. The festival will be happening July 22-24 at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, CA.

It's a cornucopia of cheesy names for bad bands.

DYS and Nails are the only reason to check this out.

You are forgetting New Lows, Ringworm and HARVEST.

I am sure a lot more "big names" will be announced soon. And by big names I mean bands on Bridge 9.

Aside from being signed to 6131, I'm not exactly sure how Joyce Manor fits this bill AT ALL. they're almost too good for this. Some decent bands on the line-up, though: Deafheaven, Harvest, New Lows, Nails...

Looks pretty good, but I think last years lineup was better. Wonder if any sort of vehicle will be in the pit this year.
