Goodness gracious, that Descendents set was pretty killer. I don't know why I was so apprehensive towards this reunion. Oh, yes, that's right: it's because I'm a fucking idiot.

And since when does PunkNews have an "Australia and New Zealand" tag? Is that new? It sure ain't used enough around here.

Well, depends on what would be considered newsworthy. Do the need to be internationally recognized Australian acts? Because I reckon that the vast majority of news from acts like Frenzal gets covered here. But if, for instance, you guys wanted to know that the Annadale Hotel (setting of historic punk shows from seminal Australian punk bands as well as legendary bands from other genres) was in danger of being sold due to lack of income from shows, then I'm sure your Australian readers would be happy to contribute.

I remember NOFX having pretty diverse setlists from show to show but this basically the same one I saw back at warped '06. What gives? Do the drugs make Fatty lazy(er)?

Nofx needs to update their setlist. It's since 2000 that they do every night the same shit. Making ONE new song at every tour is not really enough...

I've seen them 7 times and there's still 4 songs from this set that I've never heard live. So I think they're doing ok.

Is it just me or does Fat Mike's voice sound like shit here? It was never the best, but here it sounds way worse than it used to.
