Audio Karate update: new members, new material, name change

According to an update to the band's Facebook page, Audio Karate will be more or less abandoning their old sound and material, as well as changing their name. The group has a new lineup as well, and one show planned for June 7 at The Press in Claremont, CA.

The band last released Lady Melody in 2004 to critical acclaim.

these guys had basically one song on an old comp that i liked. nintendo 89. got a couple of their albums, and was pretty badly disappointed.

I downloaded both of their albums a month ago. Their first album? I could go without. However, "Lady Melody" is a very good album. It's kind of a bad move to stray away from that Audio Karate. Don't go all Celtics on me.

HOLY SHIT!!! Two people who frequent Claremont?!?!?!?!?! HOT DAMN!!! Anyways, if you're not going to Claremont for 42nd Street Bagels you're wrong. I've never seen a show at the Press. But the AK guys are all from Upland. I grew up with a couple of them. They wrote a song for one guy I knew in Junior High, other than that they were never that good.
