AbsolutePunk has premiered a new video from Mixtapes for "The New Ride The Lightning" that features Evan Weiss (Into It. Over It., Stay Ahead of the Weather) in what will likely be an award-winning acting role.

Check it out below. The song is culled from the group's latest EP Hope Is for People.

I personally don't like these videos (I enjoy the "live/tour montage" type videos ala "Sprinkles" much more), but I get that for pretty cheap, they can make a video and have people posting it everywhere, therefore hear the band and hopefully get into this band... so more power to them. Great band.
