It looks like defunct Portland, Oregon indie-rock band Kind of Like Spitting are getting back together, although the extent of their return is not yet known. What we do know is the band has a scheduled show in St. Catharines, Ontario on July 24th. Ben Barnett also played as Kind of Like Spitting at an apartment show in Brooklyn this past Saturday. The group, which broke up in 2006 after being active for a decade, will play the Rise Above Bakery, the vegan bakery and catering company operated by former Lemuria member Kyle Paton. Paton announced:

The legendary act "Kind of Like Spitting" will be doing a show here this Sunday July 24th! This is absolutely crazy news for us. This is the only planned Kind of Like Spitting show right now, and if there will be more this is the only one for the East Coast.
