Fantômas, the supergroup featuring Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle), and Buzz Osbourne and Dale Crover (Melvins), has announced plans to release The Director's Cut Live: A New Year's Revolution on DVD, as well as a standalone audio download. It's due out September 6, 2011 via Ipecac, and chronicles the band's 2008 New Year's Eve performance of their 2001 full-length Director's Cut (in which they place a unique twist on several famous movie compositions) at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA.

The DVD also includes audio commentary from comedian Neil Hamburger.
