One of the best sets by any band I've ever seen was MU330 in 96 (with Slapstick opening.) They were never quite as good any of the other times i saw them, I think it had to do with the interaction between Jason and Dan and them trading vocals.

That said, I've really enjoyed what I've heard of Dan's solo stuff but haven't really thought about it in years, will have to give this a listen when i get home

But really though, I'm pretty sure somebody will cite any one of their albums as their favorite, since I've read other people saying their favorite is Press or the Self Titled one. I wish I could give you decent information on what sets all their albums apart, but so far I consider myself only vaguely familiar with Press, but not enough to fairly rate the album. I feel like I gotta listen to MU330 more often.
