Horrible Crowes: “Teenage Dream” and “Lady Killer”

WFUV has posted a performance from Brian Fallon's The Horrible Crowes earlier this week. The actual full band performance was recorded for radio in early September and appeared online last week. The band performed "Teenage Dream" and "Lady Killer" and dropped a little The Cure in there as well. Horrible Crowes continue to support their debut album, Elsie.

One time I was at a super sleazy strip club and this girl danced to "Wish You Were Here" and broke down crying halfway through and had to leave the stage.

For a sleazy strip club, that's kind of a fancy taste in music. I typically think of strip clubs as piping in glam metal or jock rock or something, not Floyd. What was the encore? Hawkwind? Jethro Tull?

Having worked quite a few of their shows over the years, there are a lot of really good looking juggalettes (a lot of really, really not so good looking ones as well) For me it was always a matter of "Holy shit that girl is really hot, hey wait a minute, she likes ICP/ Kottonmouth Kings/ Twiztid... There is zero chance we have compatible interests..."

Elsie is still the best record released this year. Sometimes I think that the Trap Them and/or Ampere records are better, but then I hear "Sugar"...
