Toronto's The Artist Life, have released a new video from their 2011 debut for Underground Operations. The band includes members of Canadian hardcore outfits including Jersey, Grade and The Fullblast.

This band makes Simple Plan look like Madball. Fuck this band.

Looks like somebody from the band or one of their best friends got butt hurt at the comment enough to sign up a new account. Congratulations. I would maybe argue that they make Daughtry look like a Kinsella when it comes to artistic integrity and creativity.

I didn't claim to be "soooooooo punk rock", I just stated Grade and The Fullblast were incredible Canadian bands, and this pop bullshit is terrible. I get it, you wanna play music for a living so you have sink to the lowest common denominator and make music for teenage girls. It's better than being a janitor or working some other shitty job. There's nothing wrong with doing what you have to do to make a living. But let's get things straight these guys aren't out to make music with artistic merit, they are looking to make a buck. Hence the shitty female pop rock vocals.

Their first EP was pretty good, and the second one had a couple enjoyable/respectable songs, but this album is just embarrassing. I'm not punker than anyone and I can say that without equivocation. Mark it zero, dude.

I was wondering the same for Grade or Jersey. I would guess that it'd be Greg since he was in both but I don't see him in either the video or picture

Chris Danner was in Grade, he's no longer in The Artist Life. They're still associated with Jersey and Fullblast. The singer of The Artist Life, Ian, was in both.

I actually don't know. Never listened to the fullblast. And I'm pretty sure the dude was only in Grade for a short stint near the end. Maybe they have a Wikipedia page that would clear that up if you care that much. I know I don't.

i haven't heard this (can't watch/listen from my iPad) but i loved the first EP and i might be the world's biggest Jersey fan. i really hope this isn't as disappointing as everyone says.
