Joie De Vivre reform, plan new album and European tour

Joie de Vivre have reformed after a somewhat brief break-up, and are planning a European tour. There are currently no plans for US shows or a tour, but the band writes they are "sure they will come though." In addition, the band plans to release a new album in 2012 on Count Your Lucky Stars Records.

Joie de Vivre last released The North End in 2010, before splitting up earlier this year. You can read the full announcement here.

They called it quits before giving this whole emo revival a fighting chance, so glad they're getting back together. I think there's some money in this for them if they put the effort into it.

They were really bad at being broken up, with all the shows and records and stuff. So this suits it much better.

Although I think this is one of the first times a not super famous band has reformed and then goes to Europe.
