still love Knapsack, never really got into the Jealous Sound, but Blair's voice is really great

i like the washed up emo site because they posted some really awesome videos of refused during their final tour through america. it was nostalgic and touching because they were so strungout and tired of their hardcore punk lifestyle i think at the time...

I did. The Bell House in BK, great set! Eric did an amazing interview with me for the podcast and I'm looking to have that up in February.

I like this podcast, but I gotta say that the host seems a bit full of himself. I geek out _a lot_ and definitely can't help but raise my fist every time someone mentions a band I like, but I would never say that i am/was a part of "something that will never exist again" or refer to (quite known) bands as "obscure".

Thanks for digging the podcast. I def don't want it to come off that I'm full of myself at all. These bands are obscure to most people today, not us old guys/girls. Through the Internet those bands are getting recognized more, which is great. The site and subsequently the podcast were started over 5 years ago for people to remember those bands from that era. It's about celebrating that time of music. I do remember that comment about it "never existing again" and it was more about remembering and enjoying that timeframe of music. For those that were involved in it by booking shows, being in bands, running a label all remember fondly on that time as would any scene. The podcast really came out of an era of music that forgot this era and just remembering Fall Out Boy for example. Now in 2012, those bands are reuniting, touring and getting to enjoy some old glory. I more stoked and excited because of how much that music meant to me back then and being able to hear the stories that were largely untold. Hope that helped explain a little bit and again, thanks for listening. Next up for interviews will be Christie Front Drive and The Promise Ring.
