Something most people on this site don't know about me is that I'm a huge fan of choral music, especially a capella stuff. So when I found this, I jumped for joy:
Emocapella - Enjoy Your Day
It's an a capella version of the Alkaline Trio's "Enjoy Your Day," and it is beautiful.

well it said they recorded it on a mini disc player, what do you want? I happen to like this stuff, I've had these songs for a little while now and I still listen to them. I think the TBS song sounds the best.

minidisc is not so bad...if you're using a professional setup...but if they just used a regular 150 US dollar player/recorder...the quality is about what you'd expect...however, mine never came out that bad...could be a shitty mic? interesting group, none the less.

interesting concept, but really shitty recordings. I realize it was done with a mini-disc player, but this is not the way to promote your group. Giving someone a cd and saying "think how great it would sound if it was recorded professionally" is pointless. The talent may be there, but presentation is one of the biggest components of art.

from what i take they arent really trying to sell anything or promote themselves (not yet at least), so I think they just put it out to have something for people that were interested to listen to. Or else I would think they would make the effort to put good recordings up.

I happen to have won the Jeane Axell Walker singing scholarship, so I might have some valid criticisms on this. I do not like people pushing crap on me like this, but it's kind of similar to how i'm pushing this Five O's MP3 on you.

today is the 10th july 2003....please can someone tell me why im unable to download this and many other mp3s of the week?if they are now out of date and unable to be downloaded they shouldnt be accesible because it is incredibly frustrating finding loads of new cool songs that are up for download and then finding out its just a trick..is it my computer or is this the geniune case?

I happen to like the emocapella...So they're recording needs work...they like what they do and they don't sound too bad...there is more music out there than what you listen to....deal with it...and i happen to like SOMETHING CORPORATE...
