a question? if this is the last post of the day, hopefully some people will see it. how much does it hurt to get your bone marrow sampled? i'll honestly be happy with any answer less painfull then total agony. i have one scheduled on monday.

i WISH i'd seen the Gaslight Anthem. but seriously, i have no hand tattoos. some of them run over bone and into my elbow crease though, so not that bad?

The top of my foot was the worst tattoo i've gottne painwise. The only comparable one was on my chest where it got close to my armpit. No clue on the bone marrow deal though, I can't imagine that's even slightly comfortable

yeah, i've been researching it. it's gonna suck, but at least after tomorrow, it's done and over with. i hope. thank god for free health care, cause there's now way in hell i could afford all this crap on my own.

Jeez man, that's intense. I don't know a ton but from what i've heard it is extremely painful and unpleasant. Sounds like you are on a really shitty road, I don't know you but you'll be in my thoughts and prayers and hope everything goes as smooth as possible.

thanks man, i appreciate that a lot. they tell me it might be something called polycythemia (train-wrecked the spelling? i dunno) in which case it could be just blood transfusions, or possibly chemo. me and the wife watched 50/50 yesterday. in retrospect, with my hospital phobia, it was kind of like watching Alive before a plane trip. good movie though!

my senior year was almost exclusively Hawaiian shirts. A few months ago I came upon them and even though I weigh roughly the same they were pretty tight on me. I was bummed. Must be increased musculoskelatal mass.

That's not good for the metabolism though. Oh man. I love Mexican food. My taco quest continues. I read that the average Mexican family in LA County eats 212 tacos in a year. I aimed to beat that. I'm at 186 with 4.5 months to go.

Sucks you aren't fat, because fat guys in undersized Hawaiian shirts are ALWAYS the life of the party. Can't have an '80s party flick without one.

It amuses me that going to any stock photography website and searching for "guy in Hawaiian shirt" brings up dozens of images of people who I imagine people here must imagine what I look like (alternately, people who *I* imagine Adam White or Bryne to look like).

the only time I ever did something like that was when I bought the cliff's notes version of the red badge of courage for a book report for ap american history. my nails were flesh colored for the duration.

I'm 32. Knapsack was the soundtrack to my late teens, the first JS EP my early 20's. I literally feel like I just bumped into my old high school sweetheart who moved away, completely randomly. She still has all the same qualities that endeared me to her then, but she's more worldly and mature now. Dude, this is gonna be the best summer ever.
