Bad Brains, Flogging Molly, Bon Iver, Black Lips at Bonnaroo 2012

The lineup for Bonnaroo 2012 has been announced. The event will be headlined by Radiohead and the 50th Anniversary lineup of the Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks). Other notable performers include: The Antlers, Bad Brains, Battles, Ben Folds Five, Black Lips, Bon Iver, Delta Spirit, Feist, Flogging Molly, Fruit Bats, Ludacris, Mogwai, Radiohead, Skrillex, The Avett Brothers, Joy Formidable, The Shins, Alice Cooper, and Mariachi El Bronx.

It will take place June 7-10, 2012 in Manchester, Tennessee.

Naked Raygun is still killer live. I saw them, Paint it Black, and Night Birds a couple years ago. One of the best lineups ever.

Damn, that could be considered a pretty enjoyable line-up where I'm from, but alas, I'm not from Tennessee and thus the Bonnaroovian festivities shall not be mine to partake in this year. -_-

Radiohead is listed twice in the post, which I assume is a mistake unless they'll be opening for themselves. It'd be neat if they did something like when Devo used to open for themselves incognito as Christian rock band "Dove", but seeing as Thom Yorke lacks anything resembling a personality, let alone a sense of humor, I'll just naturally assume it's a typo.

I actually immensely enjoy and respect Radiohead and Thom York, but I really hesitate to call that a "Photobomb" and more of just a "caught on camera" moment. He just, uh...he just kind of always looks like that. :-/

Radiohead are definitely one of the better bands which illustrates the old adage that musical talent is often in proportion to unattractiveness. Although, I know quite a few females who wouldn't mind rolling in Thom Yorke's haystack.

And yes, I also can't help but feel "Thom Yorke's haystack" could be a euphemism for the mound of bright ginger pubic hairs which loosely hang over what's undoubtedly an almost translucently pale penis. Hopefully that image will stick with you through lunch.
