Media: Direct Hit! and Hold Tight! release hardcore split

Direct Hit! and Hold Tight! have posted a split via Bandcamp. The split features hardcore songs from both bands with Direct Hit! aiming to be "more hardcore than Bane."

You can listen to Hold Tight!'s side here and Direct Hit!'s side here before the EP's March 20th release on I Hate Punk Rock Records.

This is pretty funny/ cool. Hold tight! occasionally sounds like Blacklisted, listen for it. Maybe I'm crazy, but definitively on Stagger II at least.

I love Bane and both of theese bands have made awesome records so intially I'm stoked(best word evah).

I did stumble on this TV commerical made for Bane's record The Note and it's the worst thing ever. I've been in the hardcore scene for a while and I've never seen more 90's looking people in what should be around '05 if I'm not mistaking...? And the script and comments make me want to throw out my Bane records in shame.

I needed this badly. My band has a track with the working title "Bane Hoodie", which is essentially venting about such things (we're "instrumental" though) and this is the perfect sample. Thank you. So perfect.

I just listened to this at work today, not knowing that it was a 'hardcore' split. Other than the first three seconds of Direct Hit!'s side, I never would have guessed it was either of these bands. Nothing like their previous work.
All that aside, it was pretty, pretty good.
