Meh Trigger.

Canyoneer was fun but seemed a little top heavy and lost a little steam towards the end. Haven't been really blown away by anything since, as they haven't really done anything all that interesting or different enough to warrant further attention. Yes, they remind me of that melodic hardcore Strike Anywhere stuff. Yes, they're fast...There just comes a point when I can only hear what's essentially just rehashing of the sort of punk I grew up with as a teenager that I start to get bored with it.

ironic that the last two poster's gushing over the band have had "punker" in their name. The last time I heard anyone seriously refer to themselves or anyone else as a "punker" I was 15...

They are not trying to create the wheel again, they do this style right and its a sound I grew up with and personally, I consider it more of a timeless sound as opposed to some gimmick that fades with time. No frills punk, nothing is more punk than that ( also see, Classics of Love). You have your opinion however, and thats fine-oldpunker-
