Set Your Goals recording with Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory)

Set Your Goals will be recording new songs with New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert. They've posted a picture practicing new material. The band will start a headlining tour next month with Cartel, Fireworks, Mixtapes and Super Prime. Set Your Goals released Burning at Both Ends in 2011 on Epitaph Records.

Mutiny is a fucking classic and the pinnacle of this pop-hardcore whatever.

This Will Be The...whatever is a solid album with a lot of great tunes and Hayley Williams pretending to be hard.

Recent album is a musical abortion.

I'd imagine the next one will be awful, and I'd rather watch MattRamone jerk off to Holocaust footage than listen to the shell of what this band once was.

Maybe Gilbert can infuse some of that hardcore back into their sound. Mutiny had a sense of urgency that was very unique.

Why does his taste in music suck? Just because you don't like anything this band has put out? Seriously dude, fuck off with that shit. I agree with everything you said, Babrook. Mutiny! is a total classic and, as far as I'm concerned, the best pop-punk album ever.

I don't understand the adoration this new wave of pop-punk bands hold for New Found Glory. They all seem to look to them as if they were The Ramones.
I like MTV-era pop-punk as much as the next guy, but I can't make it past more than 3 NFG songs without wanting to blow my brains out.
