Ministry will be releasing, Relapse, on March 27, 2012. The record is the promised final album from the long-running electronic/metal/punk pioneers and features frontman Al Jourgensen joined by Mike Scaccia (Rigor Mortis), Tony Campos (Static X), Tommy Victor (Prong) and Casey Orr (Rigor Mortis/Gwar). Along with 9 original songs, the album includes a cover of the notorious punk/crossover S.O.D. track, "United Forces," The new album is the follow up to 2007's The Last Sucker which was released in 2007 and wrapped up the band's "anti-George W. Bush trilogy" of albums.
Saw Ministry with Jesus Lizard back on the Filth Pig tour in like 96 or so... talk about loud and noisy. I'd go see these guys again. They even have the visuals and everything.
holy crap that sounds like an awesome show. i still hurt when i think that i missed skinny puppy and pigface when they came to oklahoma a long while ago...
saw them on what was supposed to be their farewell tour and they only played songs from the last 3 records and then a small set of hits followed by a cover to close the night. i was thoroughly disappointed
Ministry is a great band. Saw them back in 2006 and it was such a good show. I didn't have any other friends that were into them at the time so I went by myself, but it was well worth it.
this is on punknews because...............????
