I didn't care for the last two records, but the single they released a few weeks ago was pretty good, if not as appealing as their earlier work. I'm reasonably excited, but I can wait until I'm home to listen to it.

it's like every mars volta album for me(aside from Bedlam in Goliath cause Thomas Pridgen lit the drums up on that album) only after a couple listens does it all sink in

Nice. Only listened to the first track to leave my ears unspoiled. The Whip Hand is very different but cool. Hard to describe. |
