Contests: Win Strike Anywhere Cassettes

Lost Tape Collective has released Strike Anywhere's Change Is A Sound and Exit English albums on cassette. The albums were originally released on CD and LP via Jade Tree Records. Each release is limited to 200 copies in a variety of colors. Lucky you, now is your chance to win this piece of nostalgia.

Strike Anywhere will be touring with Anti-Flag in Australia in May. Lost Tape Collective has other current releases from Balance & Composure, Dave Hause of The Loved Ones, Man Overboard, Basement, and The Story So Far.
The Prizes

I don't and I recently got a cassette demo version of an album I bought from a preorder (The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, actually a surprizingly solid album for a gimicky steampunk band.) It dawned on me that in order to listen to it in the car, I would have to hook it up through a Walkman the same way I hook my iPod up. I found the irony funny, my girlfriend just thinks I wasted 5 bucks in ordering the special edition so I could get the limited tape

i don't find it a waste, but i'm sure a vast majority of significant others might. fortunately, my wife is down with the special editions and extra goodies. she ordered me the deluxe package of A3s' Damnesia, and that came with a beer cozy and a zippo. i had quit drinking and smoking some time prior to that, lol.

I picked that up on vinyl a few years ago, actually 10+ now that I think about it, at an Ann Beretta show (that basically ended up being a foundation show because Russ had gone home due to being sick.) Back to the point, amazing album. As great as Beretta and Strike Anywhere are/ were (and we'll ingnore how bad River City High was) Inquisition blows them all away.

Did you ever hear the cover of Here Comes a Regular that Robbie and Thomas did for the Replacements cover album a few years ago?

I would love this! I have an old stereo that I use in my garage when I am working in there or in the yard. CD player is broken on it and I can't stand the radio, so I listen to all my old cassettes (Iron Maiden, Megadeath, Nirvana, Public Enemy, Ministry, etc... but I have very little punk on tape. My introduction to punk nearly coincided with my moving to CDs. One of the Ramones collections was somewhere around my 5th or 6th CD and that was the first punk I owned.

Honestly, part of what drove me off was that, while many of the fun people moved to the Summit, I didn't feel like switching over and didn't have time for both, so I just was coming here for news and not looking at the comments, and eventually just stopped coming all together. Well, that and the whole "crazy travel schedule + raising a kid" thing.
