us that NOFX's Fat Mike will be appearing live on
the San Francisco Bay Area's KGO 810am at 8 pm on Thursday November 14. The show
will be webcast
for those of you not in the area. Fat Wreck's
"portly pariah" will be discussing the stir he created with his PunkVoter.com,
the current political climate and the relevance of activism. The radio show,
hosted by Gene Burns, is (in the words of our news submitter) "big time talk radio, your parents will know what it is."

"discussing the stir he created with his PunkVoter.com" What stir? Does anyone even know it exists? 2+ Replies

I think its pretty cool, it would be even better, if the site got so big, and caused so much of a "stir" that Dubya had to address it in a speech or something, you know? Oh yeah, and to those who say he's using this to sell records, that's fucking retarded. Donovan 8+ Replies

I'm just tired of Fat Mike. I'll admit, about 7 years ago I was obsessed with NOFX and Fat Mike, I named SN's after him and email addresses after the band and stuff, as some of you do on here for other bands. But, looking back at it, I was fucking stupid. Other will say I am stupid now, but when I really think about it Fat Mike just annoys the hell out of me, and I'm sticking with my guns that Chris, Justin, or #2 have something to do with the new "outspoken" Fat Mike. Quite ridiculous. *****Wuss-Emo-Rock***** 6+ Replies

well i atleast hope he's informed before he goes onto this show and won't just be all biased "i hate republicans, blah blah blah" and stuff... talk radio could eat him alive if he doesn't know what he's talking about 2+ Replies

all i have to say is fucking good for him. he won't gain fans from this, he'll lose fans and nows it. it's refreshing to see someone of his stature have the balls to come out and speak his mind despite the naysayers. 1+ Reply

Can someone give 1 good reason why it's a problem that Fat Mike is more outspoken than he ever was? This has nothing to do with his viewpoints, just the fact that he's speaking out more and more. What the fuck does it matter? I got news for you idiots, the older you get, the more mature you get. He probably cares more now than he ever did and he's in a position to make spread the word. You fucks must like W and the sad state of America. | Features
