They completely skipped this stage in their career. Being successful enough for people to know./love/go crazy your songs, but still forced to play "smaller" clubs, so I'd imagine this is one of the most fun shows of their entire career.

Out of curiousity, how did people find out about Refused? Personally I caught the video for New Noise on 120 Minutes. Randomly think the same episode had the Get Up Kids and Edna's Goldfish on it. Probably the last time I got found any music through MTV
