Obi Fernandez (Westbound Train) to release solo album

Obi Fernandez, frontman for Boston ska act Westbound Train, will be releasing his first solo full-length this summer via Paper and Plastick. The record is titled Confessions, Waves and the Garden State and is due out August 21, 2012. Fernandez recorded the album at Hurley Studios with producer Eric Novod, also of Westbound Train.

how in the HELL is Paper and Shitstick still a label?? good luck Obi Fernandez (whoever you are), this record probably never gets pressed, and even if it does, it CERTAINLY never gets shipped.....the idiots at your label will see to that

I've never had an issue with the shipping from P+P. Maybe instead of bitching about the problem you should send them an e-mail to see what's going on with your order.

I also don't know anything. So bitching about it is probably the route to go to solve the problem. It works for 5 year olds.

I could have sworn the band announced they broke up about a year or 2 ago. they were great.

Is there a source on that? I looked around and didn't see anything as far as whether they were still together or not. I've always liked these guys, but they never seemed to get the respect they deserve. They also need to press their albums on vinyl for sure.
