Obi Fernandez, frontman for Boston ska act Westbound Train, will be releasing his first solo full-length this summer via Paper and Plastick. The record is titled Confessions, Waves and the Garden State and is due out August 21, 2012. Fernandez recorded the album at Hurley Studios with producer Eric Novod, also of Westbound Train.
Additionally, Hurley has posted a behind-the-scenes video of the recording sessions, which you can check out here.
