Days Go By wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting it to be. It was another mixed bag just like everything they've been doing since "Americana".

"Cruising California" is definitely the absolute worst pile of shit they've ever recorded, though. I don't care if it was a joke, it wasn't a funny one.

Out of nostalgia, I went to the Ignition club gig in Amsterdam last monday. Poor sound, okay (but not a memorable) performance, but I sure wasn't feeling any punk rock community kind of vibes from crowd nor band. I even got kicked out of the venue for recording video :(. They erased my memory card. The guy from the club said he was sorry about it, but that the Offspring crew was very serious about photographers (only three professional ones allowed) and videographers (none allowed). Was pretty bummed about the night ending like this.

The Long Beach show was the same kind of vibe. I love ignition, but it took a lot out of a show when the band acted like they didn't really want to be there and were too good to play a small club.
