Fang Island have posted a stream of their upcoming second album, Major. The album is due out July 24, 2012 via Sargent House.

ALSO: This album KILLS. You guys listen to your Ramonescore for summer jams, but I'll be listening to this. Ok, I'll listen to some Ramonescore too.

I have no idea. I had to leave before them, but I was supposed to interview them for WIUX's blog and they didn't respond to any of my emails, haha. I wasn't crazy about this album, but I liked some of the stuff I listened to before I attempted to interview them.

Didn't expect to dig this, but so far it's pretty killer.

Going in with low expectations. I loved their 2010 album, but the single I heard didn't catch my ears. The vocals were way too prominent, and this is one band where I like the vocals to mesh with the instruments.
