Great Neck (Fake Problems) release demo

Much different from his previous project, Derek Perry of Fake Problems has formed a new band with former bandmate Casey Lee as well as Lonnie Dillinger and Jeb Burrows. The act, Great Neck, have released a demo for free download via Bandcamp and draw influences from The Get Up Kids, The Strokes and Desaparacidos.

This is worlds better than Desaparacidos. But then again, so are itchy assholes. Here's hoping Conor Oberst is in a fatal car accident sooner rather than later.

I only like one Desaparecidos song, but it sounds a bit like what I'm hearing right now.. This is way more generic org bullshit, though. You guys never get tired of this, do you?
