Defiance, Ohio releases two new tracks

In honor of their ten year anniversary, Defiance, Ohio has decided to release 6 new songs this month. The first two songs have been released today on their website and the band plans to release two songs every Friday for the next two weeks. The band has even included a music video for one of the songs, Bad Ideas. The band's last release was Midwestern Minutes which was released in 2010. No word on whether the band will put out a proper release in the near future.

Have you given it more than one chance? I didn't like it, actually hated it, at first - but it's a grower after several listens. It's actually the first one I put on now when I'm in the mood for them.

I don't mean to offend, but sometimes I just can't get past the lisp (not referring to the song in the video, but the other). That only goes for the one particular singer, but it seems to have become more prominent in their later releases. I've seen 'em live a few times and they're really nice people.

But it's such an endearing lisp! Besides, Theo's songwriting is fantastic and gets even better with each release, I think.

I'm picky about vocalists, but I don't mind it at all. Maybe I'm just biased because I have a slight lisp of my own.
