Strung Out frontman, Jason Cruz, has a stream of his new project, Jason Cruz and the Howl. The album is titled LoungeCore and it's available on iTunes and a vinyl release is due out August 21, 2012 via King's Road.

holy shit this is good. glad to see an artist going solo actually changing it up from the generic folk bullshit we're drowning in.

The first song sounds like it could be in a 90's Tarantino movie. I'm a huge Strung Out fan, but more for the instrumentation than the vocals, but I'm still liking this stuff.
