us that Blackout Records has teamed up with
Ensign's Tim Shaw and long-time friend Clay Weirs
to form a label that will showcase the best local New Jersey hardcore and punk
bands. Brightside, named after the Killing
Time album, "will not shackled by a "sound' or a need to fit in with the trends. Brightside is setting out to break down the
barriers that have been placed on the modern hardcore/punk sound." The
label is talking with several bands to put together a release schedule. You
should start seeing Brightside/Blackout releases
in 2003.
