Videos: Tim McIlrath & Joey Cape: “For Fiona” (No Use for a Name cover)

Video has surfaced of Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath performing a cover of No Use for a Name's "For Fiona" recently in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a tribute to late NUFAN frontman Tony Sly. McIlrath is joined by Sly's friend and Lagwagon singer Joey Cape. The song originally appeared on No Use for a Name's 2005 album, Keep Them Confused .

That was really something to witness live. Tim shows what kind of a class act he really is. Him and Joey did a great job.

This song has been hard to listen to since he died and I found out who Fiona is. On the plus side, it's nice that she'll have this to know and remember him by. Not all parents that are outlived by their children get to leave something this beautiful behind for them.
