I don't know whats worse. This song or the dancing in the Frank Turner Conan video.

Quite the directional shift. I like the song, but it makes sense now that they're going to tour with The Killers.

Looks like they're taking the electronic stuff they did in Sainthood and running with it. Hope they still offer a couple of acoustic tracks on the new album because let's be honest: those are the best.

I liked the last two T&S albums (didn't like any of the albums before those), but for an indie-pop band, this seems way too much on the poppy side. Not bad enough to keep me from checking out the album though, the song still had its moments.

Different, but I like it. Stoked for the whole record, though I won't be blasting it at intersections with my windows down. Had an odd experience while listening to "The Con" before in that scenario...

I actually quite like Tegan and Sara. That being said, what are they doing on a punk blog? I know a lot of bands on here aren't strictly punk but most are related at least in some way. This band is pretty much straightforward pop/rock. |
