Gaslight Anthem hit the stage with Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam for a live performance of Pearl Jam's 1992 song, "State of Love and Trust." The track comes from the Singles soundtrack and Gaslight Anthem covered the song live for their 2011 iTunes Session .

I feel like when bands get an artist like this to perform with them, they need to step back and let the original do his or her own thing. I know Gaslight Anthem covers this song regularly and it is an attempt at a duet, but that's Eddie Vedder's song. If you want him to perform with you, don't sing over him!
