More details have been revealed, including a release date, for WE GOT POWER!: Hardcore Punk Scenes from 1980s Southern California, the book we first talked about earlier this year. As we noted then, the book will include essays by four former members of Black Flag and now the finalized book will also feature photos and essays from Mike Watt, Fear, Descendents, Redd Kross, The Adolescents, The Minutemen, White Flag, Circle Jerks, Jello Biafra, Youth Brigade, Butthole Surfers, Social Distortion, MDC and many others.

The book and photos were assembled by David Markey and Jordan Schwartz, who published the eponymous 'zine back in the 1980s. It's set for release on October 5, 2012. You can check out some teaser photos and a playlist for the book here.
