Media: P.O.S. featuring Mike Mictlan: “Get Down”

P.O.S. is streaming a new song entitled "Get Down" from his latest record We Don't Even Live Here. Fellow Doomtree member, Mike Mictlan, is also featured on the track.

P.O.S. has also released "Fuck Your Stuff" from We Don't Even Live Here. The record is due out October 23.

Really glad to hear Mictlan on this. I love a lot of his work but his "Snax" mixtape didn't click with me at all. This is a little more what I was hoping for from him. Though I will admit I'm a little iffy on the more elctro-noise direction P.O.S. is taking production wise. It's good but it does take a little more listening to get into.

The issue I had with Snax is that it was more interested in being funny than good. I mean, it was free and there were good parts but I think most of my issues stemmed from my distaste for 2%muck's production.

I would have liked a few more bangers in there. And I felt like a lot of the guest spots were kind of obnoxious. Otherwise I'm not gonna complain about free mixtapes though!

I'm not sure what I think of this yet. Might take a few listens but my first reaction is that I preferred Never Better. We'll see how I feel in a week or so.

Don't understand why Punk News posts so much on this guy. I'm not one to argue about what qualifies as "punk news" or not, but think it's strange that this dude gets so much attention on this site. I'd rather see more posts about Matt Toka- those have been few and far between recently.

check out his band building better bombs, then see how he is involved with crime thinc and how his lyrics are punk and beats involve punk aspects, then stop being so critical

Sorry guy but P.O.S. makes complete sense being on this site, much more than half of the crap that is posted here. He has been playing in punk/hardcore bands forever now (Cadillac Blindside, Building Better Bombs, Wharf Rats, etc.) and has sampled a bunch of "punk" bands in his music like Bouncing Souls and Baxter.

Oh, while on the subject-hey Bastard, I know you're not one for rap but this guy has sampled Song of Zarathustra. That has to count for something, right?
