Wow. I consider myself a casual fan of this band (I really love the album The Con, haven't heard much else), but that is quite awful. I wonder what made them head into such overwhelmingly bland radio-friendly pop territory. I know a lot of people on this site loves T&S. Does this sound like a logical continuation of their sound? To me it seems like an obvious attempt to find mainstream success, but I haven't heard Sainthood so maybe they've been going this way for years. |

aside from them being really good, and that Northshore song, is there any particular reason the punk community is so into Tegan and Sara. I don't think there's too many artists who are that sonically removed from punk that have such a universal audience in the punk community. Not complaining, hell knows i'm certainly one of those fans, but it's a weird phenomenon.
