After more than fifteen years on major labels, Blink-182 has left Universal Music Group. Guitarist/vocalist Tom Delonge Instagram-ed a picture of Mel Gibson in Braveheart and said this: "Freedom! [Blink-182] as of today, is now an independent Artist."

In related news, Future Idiots has recorded a "reimagining" of Blink-182's Neighborhoods in 2011. Called Neighborhoods & Morningwoods and out on Pacific Ridge Records, the band aimed for the sound of "earlier Blink-182 records." You can see for yourself here.

Finally, drummer Travis Barker has posted a video for his song with Yelawolf called "Push 'Em." The song is from an upcoming EP from the drummer and Yelawolf called Psycho White which is due out November 13, 2012. Find that video here.
