Bad Religion announce first single, talk about album sound and details

Bad Religion have posted a pre-order for the first single from their upcoming album; the song is called "Fuck You" and will be released next week, on November 6, 2012. Pre-orders are available via iTunes and Amazon.

Along with the single, Brett Gurewitz and Jay Bentley performed a Google hangout last week and talked a little about the album. Some details were noted by The BR Page.

Dissent was great..only rain..wrong way kids..devil in stitches...cyanide. br hasnt put out a sub par record since into the unknown.

I really like the new america, its one of the more different records in thier catalog like recipe was but for a different reason. We got to see br with just greg at the helm( minus "believe it") and i think it turned out really well.

Wrong Way Kids is awful, and not just because he doesn't know how to pronounce "kids". Cyanide is also awful, and not just because it's a ripoff of The Wallflowers' "Only Difference".

Only Rain is a fantastic song. No arguments there. Devil In Stitches is decent.

Into The Unknown isn't subpar at all. It just isn't a punk record. It's musically sound.

Of course, they're such wacky funsters, it's still a good representation of the band. This looks like Generator era.
