Sam Russo, who recently joined Red Scare has provided us with about half of his North American debut for streaming online. The record is titled Storm and is due out October 30, 2012.

I hate being expected to buy albums twice if I want to listen to it right now but also have it on vinyl. I'm not buying it digitally because I want the record. I wish I could pre-order the record and get a DL code right now. It might come to the point when the record comes out and I can't be bothered any more or don't have the funds.

Side note, that song "Cold Feet." Wow. 5 stars.

Sorry bud, I feel ya. Unfortunately CDs and LPs can take a while to make, but if it's the music you're after, that's readily available. The art and lyrics are great too, so I understand why'd you want to have that stuff as well.

Yeh, I listen to most of my music digitally (on the train, at work, in the car etc) but never via CD (my extensive CD collection just gathers dust and has done since the early 2000s) but I still also always prefer to own a hard copy for the art, liner notes and general completeness - this has moved from the CDs I used to buy in high school to records these days.

I just want to pre-order the vinyl now (I don't care when it arrives really) and get a download code straight away so I can listen to the music now, thus paying once for the music not twice.

The tracks on here are rad and I hope there is enough support for him to do some touring down under.
