Well... it's not what I wanted, but oh well. Maybe the rest of the album will be better.
porksoda (December 10, 2012)
Are they adverse to writing a catchy, up-beat pop song like they used to?
puddboy (December 10, 2012)
Tom's voice makes me violently ill. The drum beat is cool, reminds me of listening to the alternative radio station back in 1997.

Not saying much, but this is better than 90% of the stuff on Neighborhoods.
ksupilot (December 10, 2012)
I like it. I know it's going to be hated by most on here since it's Blink, but I like it much more than Neighborhoods if the rest of album is like this.
warbrain (December 10, 2012)
awful but catchy....drum beat and guitars remind of wheatus. i liked wheatus.
FelixT (December 10, 2012)
What kills me is that I used to think Tom had an awesome punk voice before their self-titled. Now I just don't know what to believe anymore.
jacknife737 (December 10, 2012)
It at least doesn't sound like they were trying to channel Angels and Airwaves.
ak3punk (December 10, 2012)
Not the worst song I've ever heard, but my expectations for this were a lot higher. After hearing this I don't think I'll buy it, download it for free maybe.
porphyriax (December 10, 2012)
I like it...It has the feeling of the S/T which is my favorite album of theirs - I just wish it wasn't so electronic.
bloblaw (December 10, 2012)
If they didn't make this so clean it'd almost sound like a boxcar racers song, which would've been a way better direction for the band than breaking up only to reunite to make make millions off of pop smut. So yeah, this songs alright even though the beginning is a smash mouth song.
whiskyboys (December 11, 2012)
This song's great though. Good Riddance - Boxing Day www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgbN1UXtH-w&sns=tw
PopPunkIsNotDead (December 11, 2012)
I can completely understand how even a big blink fan won't like this track. It is different from anything off Neighborhoods, let alone anything they've done in the past (they used a folk guitar Christ's sake). To toss in my own opinion though, I think it is a good track and well written. Like always your opinion on Tom's voice will depend if you like the "whiney" style.
axl09 (December 11, 2012)
Sounds like Really poppy Smashmouth. A little over dont, but I like it more then the last album. And i liked the last album a little bit.
dordon (December 11, 2012)
This chick has the previews for the EP on her tumblr page... and they're really, really good. I'd say a mix of s/t and TOYPAJ |
