Last fall, The Offspring hit the road with LA's Dead Sara, and called on the opening band's singer, Emily Armstrong, to contribute vocals to their stripped-down version of "Gone Away." Rolling Stone has debuted a video of the band performing the song with Emily at the Hollywood Palladium this past October. "Gone Away" originally appears on the band's 1997 album Ixnay on the Hombre.

I've always liked this song and I actually like this version. Though Dexter doesn't sing as well as I remember.

If I remember right the riff to this song rips off Fugazi's Blueprint from Repeater.
