Media: Nails: “God's Cold Hands”

Pitchfork is streaming a new song from California's Nails, titled "God's Cold Hands." The song is set to appear on the band's upcoming album, Abandon All Life, due out on March 19, 2013 via Southern Lord Records.

That's no joke. I like giving Nails my money too. They just need to stop letting their stuff go out of print so I can continue giving it to them.

I always wondered whatever happened to the band who did "88 Lines About 44 Women". I think I like their old style better. Back when they were wise enough to come up with original names for their bands.

Southern Lord has taken a weird direction lately.
I mean, I guess it makes sense - but it was still pretty unexpected.

I certainly hope they didn't do it to branch out and sell more records though, because the blog-kids who are the main supporters of these bands don't buy records unless it's limited vinyl and even then you'd be hard pressed to sell out a pressing of 1500.
