My Bloody Valentine

My Bloody Valentine have finally released a new full length, simply titled mbv and available directly from their official website in various high quality formats up to 24-bit WAV and all physical formats. Bandleader Kevin Shields has been talking about a follow up to 1991's Loveless since 2007 at least.

The band has also uploaded the entire album to YouTube and we created a playlist to make it easier to listen to in sequence.

This album literally sounds like it could have been released in 1993. I`m far from the world`s biggest MBV fan, but "Only Shallow," "When You Sleep," and "Sometimes" are great, transcendent songs. After three listens, this album does not appear to have anything of that stature.

Agreed. I don't have any problems with PIB or anything, but that's a ridiculous statement to make, especially coming from someone who claims to possess such a vast knowledge of music.

Modern Hardcore sucks. The 80's was better. And not fucking Crossover Thrash or Youth Crew (even though some Youth Crew and Crossover are decent), I mean early 80's like Minor Threat, MDC or early D.R.I. The best modern Hardcore is the ones that sounds like 80's Hardcore. Sure some of this new stuff is alright but it just doesn't hold up a candle. And when reading this, remember. This is my opinion.

Fantastic album. The best follow up to Loveless we could have asked for. I mean, it might not be as out of this world brilliant as Loveless, but not much is. Very satisfied.
