This is John G with four new reviews to close out the week. On Saturday, I'm going to the Mischief Brew record release show.
I've been to my fair share of record release gigs, and man, they are usually amazing. I will always remember the release show for The Dwarves' album The Dwarves Are Born Again , Night Birds' Born To Die In Suburbia and Ceremony's Rohnert Park . There's something about the excitement of a new album and the beginning of a tour that makes a band come out all guns blazing. I especially love it when the band sells special versions of their record at the show. What was your favorite kick ass record release show? Did the band do anything special?
