Legendary DC hardcore veterans Bad Brains played a unique show recently, recording a new EP in a studio in Woodstock, NY in front of approximately 70 people. Filling in for H.R. was Jamaican singer Jesse Royal. The EP is part of a series aptly titled, The Woodstock Sessions. Guitarist Dr. Know referred to it as a "recording gig. It's great to have participation with the audience, to get a little feedback."

The band's last release with H.R., Into the Future, was released in 2012. When asked about the possibility of working again in the future with the iconic frontman, the guitarist simply replied, "Only Jah know."
